Morning Fog
the vineyards & wine making
Our Estate Grown Morning Fog Chardonnay is named for the morning coastal fog pushed by Pacific wind streams into the bowl of the San Francisco Bay. This daily phenomenon moderates the climate to produce excellent, beautifully balanced Chardonnay. Our family was the first in California to produce a varietally labeled Chardonnay from our Wente clone.
flavor notes
Morning Fog Chardonnay burst with aromatics of melon and green apple complemented by hints of toasty oak and vanilla from barrel aging. This wine is balanced by a lingering minerality and natural acidity to create a beautiful wine.

Chateau Buena Vista Chardonnay
the vineyards & wine making
Due to the geological diversity of vineyards within the Carnero appellation, grapes were hand harvested based upon optimum ripeness and flavor maturity. The grapes were whole cluster pressed, 100% barrel fermented and completed secondary fermentation.
flavor notes
Stone fruits mixed with nutty aromas spring from the glass. Pineapple and mango flavors spread across the palate with notes of toasted brioche and a thread of minerality. This wine has balanced acidity followed by a clean and crisp finish.
